 Lamar Pointe Preserve Siteplan
Lamar Pointe Commercial
 | Commercial development at Lamar Pointe includes almost a mile of frontage on Texas Highway 35.
Commercial lots along the highway are approximately 350 feet deep and also have sewer and water available. The commercial areas are buffered by the freshwater wetland park between their location and the Lamar Pointe Habitat residential area.
The anticipated growth of this area includes more shopping, restaurants and possibly a hotel.

Lamar Pointe Habitat
| The Lamar Pointe Habitat includes approximately 40 acres of freshwater wetlands and marshes offering an abundance of natural native wildlife.
The Lamar Pointe Habitat (under development in 2007) will include:
- Walking Paths
- Boardwalks
- Observation Areas
The Lamar Pointe Habitat is planned to offer an area of town homes that overlook the lake and .5 to .75 acre home sites.
The larger home sites in the Lamar Pointe Habitat are intended to save trees and allow some lots to back up directly to the wetland park. Trees in the habitat area include groves of Live Oak trees, some over 400 years old. Additional restrictions in this area protect the environment and preserve nature at the same time. |

Homes look cheap from the road. Quality of construction doesn't look the best. Nice area though. |

I currently live on North Padre Island on the water and take can't wait to retire in Lamar Pointe Reserve. This will be a nice place to "chill" in our older years. Great fishing without paying the ridiculous waterfront insurance and taxes. |

I look forward to retiring there in about 10-15 years, glad I already have property there. I like the fact it has good restrictions. It will be one of the nicest places in all the Rockport area. See you by the bay!! |

Toured the homes that were just built, was not impressed at all, for the price they are asking the builders could of added some nicer features/higher quality. The area is real nice though. |
